The KOCH Group is a leading company at five locations in Switzerland with over 400 employees. Their range includes over 100,000 items consisting of fittings, tools, machines and other products, which can be ordered in the online shop and delivered by their own logistics.

Challenge

Marketing previously had to create portraits at five locations – time-consuming and inefficient due to travel time. All images were manually post-processed and still lacked consistency. Additionally, there was no direct integration of images into Abacus and other systems.

Outcome

With betterPortrait, the entire process could be automated. After signing the contract, new employees land directly in the betterPortrait dashboard via the Abacus interface. From there, they receive an individual upload link. With a video-based photo guide, they are instructed and can easily upload their portrait themselves. This is then professionally edited and standardized.

The finished portraits are sent back to Abacus as well as to the KOCH Group's other systems.
